Emu Oil – is traditionally used by Australian Indigenous healers, used for treating muscle and joint pain, wound healing, and intense moisturising for the skin. Our emu oil is sustainably sourced. We are proud to include it as one of the main active ingredients in our ointment to assist with penetrating skin, better than many other bases of ointments. Assisting in transdermal delivery.
Manuka Oil – is the New Zealand pine with traditional use for antibacterial, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory healing properties. This means it is good for calming red, inflamed skin, soothing irritation, assisting damaged skin, and may soothe bites and stings.
Tea Tree Oil – (Melaleuca) is traditionally used in aromatherapy to support wound healing, topical disinfectant, in the symptomatic relief of insect bites, minor skin complaints such as boils or acne. Known for its antiseptic, antimicrobial and minor fungal skin infections. To assist in the relief of athletes foot and tinea.
Argentum Metallicum – Homeopathic Silver- strength 15x, 20x, 30x, is used traditionally for itching skin.
Allantoin – a constituent of the Comfrey herb.
PEA – Palmitoylethanolamide Is a naturally occurring fat found in some foods such as egg yolk. PEA is a substance naturally made in the human body which has an endo-cannabinoid-like action, providing neuroprotection and anti-inflammatory support for injured cells. PEA in the body is for reducing pain and swelling.
Calendula Officinalis – also known as the Marigold flower. Traditionally used in European Herbal Medicine to aid cuts, bruises, skin inflammation & nappy rash.
Vitamin E Oil – (D-alpha tocopherol Acetate) has antioxidant properties, moisturising and soothing the skin. It assists skin healing and may improve the appearance of scarring.
Olive Oil – (Olea European fruit oil) is rich in fatty acids and full of good nutrition for the skin. It has been shown to have direct antioxidant action on the skin and may help prevent UV damage. High in squalene, it is an intensive moisturiser that is also rich in vitamins A, D, K and E.
Rose Geranium Oil – Pelargonium Roseum Stem Oil is rich is fatty acids and antioxidants and because of this it may promote tissue and cell regeneration. This means it may assist the skins ability to heal itself especially from environmental and toxic exposure.
Coconut Oil – Is high in antioxidants and very resistant to becoming rancid. Used for hydration and designed to nourish, restore and renew skin.
Lysine – Is one of the essential amino acids. Traditionally used in the treatment of viruses such as herpes and shingles.
Citrus Seed Extract – has been traditionally used as a natural preservative and may have an antifungal and antibacterial effect in mild cases.
Lactobacillus Rhamnosus – A postbiotic that may assist in strengthening the skin barrier and the reconstruction of human epidermis. The presence of good bacteria on the skin could also be helpful with the skin irritation in treating mild fungal and bacterial skin conditions.
- The recommended usage of the ointment is to apply 2-3 times per day.
- For mild issues the average time to see results is approximately 1-3 weeks, but for severe conditions it may take approximately 4+ weeks. The timeframe will vary according to the severity of the condition.
