Representing our tea maker’s heritage, Seven Sisters is an old family recipe of lightly roasted Indian spices, blended with full bodied black tea, making for a flavoured and warming hot drink.

Taste Medium bodied and rich with balanced spice flavours

For a Classic Cup

Boil water – Bring fresh water to a rolling boil (100°C).

Steep the teabag – Place 1 teabag in a cup and pour over 200–250 ml of boiling water.

Brewing time – Steep for 3–5 minutes depending on desired strength.

Serve – Enjoy black, or add a splash of milk and natural sweetener (honey, raw sugar, jaggery) for a traditional chai taste.

For a Traditional Chai Brew (Richer Flavour)

Simmer 1 cup water + ½ cup milk in a small pot.

Add 1 teabag and simmer gently for 5 minutes.

Sweeten to taste and strain into a cup.

Tip: The spices in Seven Sisters Masala Chai (like cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, cloves) come alive best with milk and a little sweetness.
